Nick is a medium sized, dark sable male with excellent structure and working ability. He has extreme drives in all three phases of the work. In tracking, he demonstrates high drive, intensity, a deep nose, while maintaining a methodical pace. His obedience is upbeat and focused. Nick is crazy for a ball and has a pleasing attitude. Nick’s protection is balanced between strong prey and active aggression. His best trait is his impeccable gripping behavior – always full, hard, and calm. He is a German import from the famous “del Lupo Nero” kennels. Nick is a full brother to Nox del Lupo Nero-LGA, Nell del Lupo Nero-LGA, Polly del Lupo Nero-LGA (WUSV Siegerin Universalqualifikation 2011), Pearl del Lupo Nero-(V-LGJZS), and Pike del Lupo Nero-BSP. Nox is the father of Drago vom Patriot, one of the most popular stud dogs in Germany at the moment along with Pike.
Nick’s pedigree is packed with some of the best working bloodlines of West Germany. His mother Alexia del Lupo Nero has produced more dogs in the LGA, Sieger Show, and BSP than any other female of her time. Nick is a grandson of Bandit v. Oberhausener Kreuz-BSP and Buster v. Adelmannsfelder Land-BSP (V-BSZS) two very well known working line producers in Germany. He goes further back to Gildo v. Koerbelbach-BSP, Marc v. Herkulesblick, Aly v. Vordersteinwald-BSP, and Torro v. Koerbelbach-BSP. He also has a strong female line going through Exe v. Schmiedegarten-BSP and Bona v. Schmiedegarten-BSP.
